Well, it's certainly not new to us. We've been selling it for almost 20 years ... but it is new to shipping. At least while the weather cooperates. We fondly have referred to this wonderful bison meat product as "buffalo cocaine". It is that addictive! Shipped frozen and bubble wrapped. With the store closing and and so many "addicts" out there ... we're going to see how this works.
Gehl's Buffalo Hill Ranch - Kippered bison Jerky. Whole muscle bison round is striped and soaked in a brown sugar water solution, then lightly smoked but never dried out. Not too salty; never tough. Gehl's won every bison jerky contest hands down for over 20 years .. and then they just quit the contests and keep making wonderful kippered bison jerky.
