Reprint of a 2004 Keynote address given by West at the 15th Annual Mari Sandoz Heritage Society Conference. 32 pages including introduction. Apparently West is well respected for his knowledge and interpretation of American Western culture ... but frankly, I was underwhelmed. Maybe I spent too much time around bison. Guess maybe I spent more time around them and their caretakers than he did. Just guessing. Anyway, it is available and I have never been able to find other copies
