The March Madness Mad Hatter hat sale is just a day away from being in the books. The antique gun (and a few modern weapons, some special gun books and accessories) is taking shape. It will start April 2 (so as not to be confused with The Buffalo Wool Company April 1st annual extravaganza). Be sure you are signed up for both our and their and our email list so you don't miss out on the opening "gun". And, yes, I am away from the store so shipping will start again April 4th.
Hat sale is winding down; Antique Gun (with a few modern firearms ) and similar stuff starts April 2. New guns added (almost) daily. Liquidation pricing!

Deerskin quill and bead work Native dance set

Sold out
$7,750.00

SOLD:

This is art!  The set is stunning; the display equally brilliant.  It is designed to hang like a large picture, but at the moment we have it sitting on the floor.  This is a museum piece.

I do not believe this has ever been worn!!  It is pristine.

Deerskin ... very possibly doeskin ... dress with stunning quill work depicting two Natives on horseback.  Includes a quill work and beaded belt and two small bags - one looks to be a fetish and the other may well be medicine.

Also includes leggings and moccasins. All appear in excellent condition.  Seller represented it to most likely be of 20th century type work, but no maker or other provinance.  I have written them again to see if I can get any information about the maker or the origin.

Total unit measures approx 68"x50"x3".

This set without the framing is worth the price ... but with this mounting it is .... well, expensive but so worth it.

The framing concept is exceptional, and very well executed.  framed in a beautiful plexiglass shallow (approximately 3") shadow box (there is one small crack in the plexi).

This needs to be hand carried - I used Uship to get it here, and will either use them to deliver .... or might even bring it myself.  SHIPPING WILL BE ACTUAL COST and billed after purchase... NOT THE $4.95 FLAT RATE, SORRY.  So you know, from Arizona to the store it was just under $500... but so worth it.

Need I say this is the only one!
