Craft Grade summer bison hides
These are the pits! Worst hides I have ever seen as far as (1) knife cuts; (2) full thickness; (3) missing tails; stubby manes and slick short summer hair.
The are cheap, and they are usable for some very nice craft projects. The actual tannage is quite good - hides all natural thickness, not thinned as in garment tanning. Let your imagination flow with these
Want a great small bison hide rug? Short haired summer hides are the best - no tripping in that thick winter hair. Cut these to fit, whip lace the edge with bison or rawhide lacing and "bam".
Need a super cushion for the pooch? Same thing - cut to fit; use the scrap to weatherstrip doors and more. The dog will love you. The slick short hair is quite soft .. just short.
lots of knife cuts, but the hide is well tanned and tough. Gun scabbard? Saddle bags?
We're sending a couple to our gun case maker to use as accent fur on both the inside and outside of our pistol rugs.
Only 19 of these (17 now that we pulled two of the worst for ourselves; you get the next one in the pile - no choice at this price, sorry)
