Another of our Trask closeout coup!  The "Landry"

A mans bison leather every day shoe, much along the lines of the original Harrison Trask designed "Gallatin".  Relatively light weight, but excellently finished.  If we have your size, don't hesitate.

Most of these are saddle tan with a bit of a dark brown overtone.  Very attractive.  There are just a couple pair of black

  • Horween® Chromexcel American bison leather.
  • Leather lining.
  • Shock-absorbing removable insole with extra EVA cushioning at the heel.
  • Imported by Trask.  (yes, these are not made in the U.S)
  • Sizing in Men's sizes   (I believe these run about .5 size small, my recommendation is to order up a size)

Close out priced at $ 109 instead of the regular $245.

Great shoes, moving like a bison myself!

Wasn’t too sure about these shoes when I ordered them. I mean, ‘bison leather’ sounds like it’s strong and sturdy, but could perhaps be a little rough on the feet? But my fears were quickly squashed. This pair did take a day or two to break in but they are as pleasant as my Santonis and Aldens combined! And that at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended people!

Joseph: Appreciate your initial trust and what a great review; thank you for that. Stay well and safe (and even if you feel as strong as a bison with them on ... no overland migration, please). Best wishes

Trask "Landry" Bison leather shoes

I initially ordered the Trask Landry Bison leather shoes because they were made of bison leather! I do leather craft as a hobby and love to work with bison leather, so what could be better for me than shoes made from bison leather. I received them on time just as promised. I have been more than satisfied with the shoe quality and comfort, they appear to be very well made. The fact that they are made from bison for me is a bonus. I normally take a size 9 and Cecil suggested a 9 ½ and that was the correct size for me, a size 9 would have been too small. I have worn the shoes a few times and “so far so good”.
