Dick's photography has graced more museums, magazines, rich folks homes, poor folks homes, colleges ... and on.  He was a master of the lens before digital; before colorization.  Not only did he photograph, he raised all kinds of game birds.  He trained bird dogs, he trained race horses .. or helped in the training.   And Gerry and Dick always gave .. to those in need, to those who deserved, who couldn't afford.  Two of the most kind hearted and generous.  And ... talented.

Dick took me on a trip to see the mating dance of the         endangered Lesser Prairie Chicken.   That was 2018 ... seems like   yesterday.  He has access to one of the few remaining private   preserves.  We sat in a cold converted shipping container,   listening to their calls and puffing .. peaking through the cutouts   to witness what use to be huge flocks.

When the railroads were working their way across the west, I am     told that more times than not there was a clause that workers could not be fed "chicken" ... these Prairie Chickens ... no more than a limited number of times a week ... or that would have been all they would be given, they were so numerous in the mid 1800's.

And Dick's books:  "God' Critters", "Critters de Dios:", "Lesser Prairie Chicken" and his last, "Longhorns"Surely you can use a great book .. or a couple ...of very very frameable photographs.

Thank you all ..  in advance ... for helping out a wonderful couple who "paid it forward" most all their lives.
