The First (revised and added to) Dick Wilberforce Wildlife grouping ...
This is a "refreshed" listing of 15 pieces of Dick Wilberforce's incredible photography ... framed, many with brass name inscriptions up here for sale .. cheap. I have taken out the ones that sold in the 'first round" and added some others. I'll keep doing this as long as pieces hold out or you all quit buying these bargains.
As I said initially, Dick and Gerri need the money; Dick is on the downhill ... so unfortunate. 100% of the sales go to them. You can get some great great art at less than the cost of framing ... but we need you all to step up. Shipping is set at $25.00 .. that is insured. (I've got another 75-100 pieces framed and probably 200 unframed.) Want something else? Call and I'll get you pictures. They can't do the shows they use to do; they can't even manage Facebook .. and you can imagine how few photo sales would come from there.
Please click on the product name on the right side of your screen to bring up that particular piece and it's price ... clicking on the pictures just changes the picture.
Billy Dunavan at his "Against the Wall" framing studio .. where most all these were framed and where ALL my (and Jack Sorenson, etc.) pieces get their "glitter" on has also had some for sale ... but it's not enough. SO ...
Jump on these .. both for your sake and theirs.
Dick's photography has graced more museums, magazines, rich folks homes, poor folks homes, colleges ... and on. He was a master of the lens before digital; before colorization. Not only did he photograph, he raised all kinds of game birds. He trained bird dogs, he trained race horses .. or helped in the training. And Gerry and Dick always gave .. to those in need, to those who deserved, who couldn't afford. Two of the most kind hearted and generous. And ... talented.

Dick took me on a trip to see the mating dance of the endangered Lesser Prairie Chicken. That was 2018 ... seems like yesterday. He has access to one of the few remaining private preserves. We sat in a cold converted shipping container in the very early hours, listening to their calls and puffing .. peaking through the cutouts to witness what use to be huge flocks. It was a privilege.
When the railroads were working their way across the west, I am told that more times than not there was a clause that workers could not be fed "chicken" ... these Prairie Chickens ... no more than a limited number of times a week ... or that would have been all they would be given, they were so numerous in the mid 1800's.
And Dick's books: "God' Critters", "Critters de Dios:", "Lesser Prairie Chicken" and his last, "Longhorns". Surely you can use a great book .. or a couple ...of very very frameable photographs.
Thank you all .. in advance ... for helping out a wonderful couple who "paid it forward" most all their lives.
