Republic of Texas - Mirabeau Lamar Signed $20 Note

Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar (August 16, 1798 – December 19, 1859) was an American attorney, politician, poet, and leading political figure during the Texas Republic era. He was elected as the second President of the Republic of Texas in 1838 after Sam Houston.    

This is a well preserved, but funded and cancelled, Republic of Texas Mirabeau Lamar Signed $20 Note - #4099.  Second signature is that of James Harper Starrr .. the second Treasurer of the Republic of Texas.

Note is printed on both sides.

Printing is crisp; paper is intact but thin with good flex for its age.

This piece is currently unframed.  It is most likely that it will become a framed piece unless purchased before.  Custom framing can be arranged if preferred.
