These versatile 12 x 12 squares are woven at Paint Rock Rugs ... just like our regular bison fiber rugs. Great for under plants, statues, as chair pads, place mats, grandchild attitude adjusters ... many uses (but mostly nice to set under plants and protect tables).
These will be the last of the and of the great bison fiber rugs, saddle pads and table runner sets we use to be able to get from Ingrids Handwoven and Paint Rock Rugs. Like too many small "hands on" specialty businesses, they have had to pack it in. So sorry; great people and great hand made products.
They would take our "carding waste fiber" . the leftover after we have the down fibers extracted for use in our socks and gloves. They would 1800's textile equipment to spin that around a jute fiber core ) core spinning - to create the "ropes" they would then weave ... on hand made looms ... into these truly excellent products.
"Paprika" is the deep maroon on the top of the stack; Rust, Orange and Gold are pretty self explanatory, I hope.
And then there is "the plant Buffalo" Ceramic, hand made (and wholly created) by Lana Little in Amarillo Texas. A useless and wholly fun piece to hide in your plant. We sell Lana's hand tossed coffee mugs here in the store .. but can never get enough to keep them in stock. Have a few of these little guys (well, they are about 10" long) Hard to photograph; really interesting reactions when someone spots one in the greenry.
