Antique 32" octagonal barrel tiger maple wall hanger

 This old piece has lots of battle scars.  Still, a fine piece of American gun history.  Brass shoulder plate, brass trigger guard, Heavy octagonal barrel.  50 cal. +/- with both the barrel and the percussion lock marked "H.E. Leman, Lancaster Pa".

One of the best parts is that it has not been "refinished"; all the "old and original" is intact.  The original finish has been worn through were "hands" would rightfully hold the gun.  It is only with this time worn finish that the beauty of the tiger maple come through.  Has a ramrod and the action locks, cocks and fires (though I wouldn't do it often).

I have another H.E. Leman marked percussion rifle .... much fancier gun (with patchbox and even fancier wood). if you want something more collectable and less "rustic" (and more expensive, of course.)
