I build handicap ramps with a volunteer group and these elk hide gloves outwear all the popular 'synthetic' gloves at least 2:1. If I don't let them get soggy wet in the rain they last much longer.
These are beautiful dress shoes. The bison grain is definitely highlighted. I purchase a half size smaller as suggested in the listing. They fit great! Fantastic price for such a quality shoe. Thanks Cecil and everyone at Herd Wear.

These are really nice bison dress shoes they look really expensive I usually wear a size 11-1/2 W but purchased the size 12M and the fit great and they shipped out and I received them in 2 days nd they were packaged really well
I have tried every glove avail for cutting and splitting firewood and they all end up getting holes in the fingers. Got some of these buffalo gloves and have yet to have any issues....i even picked up cactus without thorns getting thru! Love em!!
I have original US-made Trask bison shoes from 25 years ago that look just as good (or better) than new. These are in the same quality as original, although sourced from India. The bison leather is superb. Plus the price at $65 is way too low for shoes of this quality. If your size is still available, you won't be disappointed.

I bought these socks for my husband and he absolutely loves them! I had originally entered the incorrect address. I quickly sent an email and was responded to shortly. They made sure the socks got delivered to the correct address and were very nice about it. It’s nice to get a genuinely good product from a genuinely good company who cares about their customers.
I took delivery of a very fine pair of bison hide gloves and coudn't be happier. Cecil at HerdWear even noticed a small difference in the mailing cost to me in the UK and refunded the difference - very astute and kind of him. The gloves are great, when first received I thought they were too small but actually its just because the hide is so tough it needs a few weeks to soften up and expand. Now they fit like an, er, glove!
They are the warmest boot I've ever worn. The materials and construction are flawless. They pull on easily and stay put while walking. The grip in snow is sufficient to keep this old logger on his feet. These are highly recommended!

Fit, not so much... ordered the Xtra Large and general fit is very tight. Not unexpected without some "break-in". However, the fingers are sown in a way as to make the finger tips too small to fit my fingers. I have to wonder if the XXtra Large size would be better. The gloves aren't usable as they are.
I'm completely satisfied with the other items I ordered.
Michael: Thank you for the super and honest review. Let me send you a 2XL (and a return label) to see if that is any better. If so, keep the 2 and send the XL back. If neither works, either let me refund or try a pair of the Midwest bison leather glovess. Longer fingers and a bit larger across the palm. Or ... if you prefer, I can send a pair of the Midwest XL's and/or the Buyce 2XL. Let me know what is the best way to proceed. But let's not let it drop, OK. Let's get if fixed.

This is my second pair of these boots. Not because the first pair pooped out, but because this company has gone under and I can’t fathom living without my ski-bunny attire, so I got an extra pair. I wear them around all fall, winter and spring barefoot so I can feel the fleece insides. I get countless comments from strangers in their cuteness which, in turn, makes me feel extra cute. I cannot get enough of these boots or this company, and the fact that they come in my size is 🥳🥳🥳.
The first time that I have used a front pocket wallet. It is truly minimalist. Only room for a couple credit cards and ID cards. My intention was to force myself to only carry what I need and it does get you there. It is well made as are all Trask items. I'm sure that it will last forever. I like the front pocket wallet for both comfort and security
I was lucky enough to snag the last pair of Double H Boot - Steel Toe "Simon" bison leather shorty boots in my size at a great price. Of course service was exceptional and they arrived faster than a charging buffalo. Great quality and comfort. Bison leather is soft from the get go, so doesn't even need breaking in, and wears like iron. I have no doubt that these boots will last forever. My thanks to the family at Herd Wear! p.s. Very taken with my new bison pendant. It is beautifully made consisting of multiple shades of green. Easily looks good with many colors.
