At Last! The calm before the ......

With our couple weeks of Container Sale behind; all ... every bit ... of NEW product in house, including (and the underlined texts are actually clickable links.):

  1.  the Footskins Denim Leather (yes, denim look leather) Tall Mocs,
  2. Denim leather trimmed bison leather toddler mocs,
  3. our two custom designed "Herd Wear" Anza knives,
  4. the six beautiful bison shoulder mounts,
  5. even more tempting Silver Pearl Ranch turquoise pieces - some really special stones,
  6.  the last of the vintage coral cross pendants arriving,
  7.  the Hard Rock Cafe original architectural renderings finally showing up, as well
  8.  .... and no more physician visits on the calendar, Alaska coming right up

We finally had a little porch sitting time.   So what calming and serene view do we get?  The so called "creepy house"...  an unfortunately beyond repair 110 year old derelict homestead between

us and the Spicer's  beautifully restored 80 year old house .... being crushed, busted and smushed.  Still, not the everyday scene here or elsewhere.

Here is the great part.  Demolition costs are not cheap.  This place had become a haven for "unwanted" critters.  We are fortunate to have another neighbor who has large equipment and very much wants to help  us all when he can.  So here he comes with his John Deere 250 excavator .... and BLAM; a pile of kindling that,

once  the wind subsides and the Claude Volunteer Fire Department can make time, will burn into history.  One of my sadder truths; Nothing Lasts Forever.  Not the Beatles (or the Peter, Paul and Mary for us a bit older); not favorite shows, not favorite relatives, not good time and not bad times.  Change seems to be the only constant.  Like the HERD WEAR RETAIL STORE in Goodnight, Texas.

The good news is we get to hold on to the memories, and relive them just about any time we choose.  That is, until they too, change and fade.  New ones come to take their place.  And time inevitable marches forward.

So, that said, I had best get back to it .... got the get the bison mounts properly photographed and up ... and my fishing rods properly encases for travel.  Thanks all.  More as it happens.
