It feels like an "unfortunate" early spring here in the Texas Panhandle. Other than the wind, which often dies quickly for an hour or so at sundown, and the lack of rain or moisture, it's pretty nice this past week. My year old apricot is blooming sweetly and the roses are growing like weeds. The weeds haven't started yet, as they are too smart to poke shoots out when another freeze or two is likely. That's the unfortunate part. We take what we're given wherever it is we choose to live. Yes, I'll take it (try to cover the roses and the app tree) and call it really good. Hope to see you here before long.
