Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL MODEL 22 CAL SHORT.” The right side of the barrel is marked “COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.” The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, “15131W.”

Barrel Length: 6”    Sights: The front sight is a fixed blade, and the rear sight is a square notch integral to the hammer.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip frame is fitted with smooth walnut grips. The grips display minimal wear and handling marks. There are no cracks or chips, and the grips are in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Blued Barrel with Gold Frame, Trigger Guard, and Grip Frame

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion or fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
