Jim has lived in Texas almost 20 years now, along one of the last untamed stretched of the Pease River, tucked in between some very large and unkempt ranches. Plenty of cats - both bobcats and cougars, hogs and adventures. And this gun has "seen service".
The knife is a collectable all by itself. Built for Jim by Edenino DeLeon ... a student of the legendary knifemaker, Ralph Bone.

Hard to believe he will turn loose of any of is collection... but it is one very special rig. Jim says his eyesight isn't what it once was, and open blade sights are no longer his friend.
The holster was custom built of brain tanned elk over horsehide by our good friend and craftsman extraordinaire Charles Sinclair. Jim and Charles are also fast friends (and trapping buddies).
